Please pay special attention to the following:
1. The current version of Bytorent does not provide user registration, account login, ad recommendations, or user profiling features;
2. When you actively use features such as QR scanning, QR image recognition, NFC, USB, plan import/export, or saving QR images, we only process the information necessary to provide those functions;
3. When you actively tap "Check for Updates," "Download Update," or "Install Update," we access a third-party update distribution service to check versions, download installation packages, and invoke the system installation interface;
4. The plan files you import, QR code contents, NFC tag contents, USB communication results, protection passwords, device configurations, and similar data are, in principle, processed or stored only on your local device and are not used for advertising, profiling, or purposes unrelated to the core functions of this app;
5. Although the current version declares certain compatibility permissions on some platforms, such as location, Wi-Fi, and phone state, we do not use these permissions for continuous location tracking, route tracking, or marketing analysis.

1. Scope of Application

The Bytorent App and its related desktop and mobile services are provided and operated by Shenzhen Duoen Technology Co., Ltd.. This Privacy Policy applies to the processing of your personal information and related data when you use Bytorent. 2. Information We Collect and Use

We follow the principles of lawfulness, legitimacy, necessity, and good faith. We only collect, generate, or process the information necessary when you actively use specific functions:

3. Permission Requests and Usage Instructions

To provide relevant functions, the app may request or invoke the following permissions or system capabilities on different platforms:

  • Camera permission: used for QR scanning and image capture recognition scenarios, and enabled only when you actively scan.
  • NFC permission / capability: used to identify, read, and write NFC tags and to perform near-field interactions with devices.
  • File / album / media access permissions: used to read plan files or QR images you actively select, or to export QR images and plan files to your local device.
  • USB Host / USB device access capability: used to identify and connect external USB devices for serial communication and configuration downloads.
  • Network permission: used to access the official website, check for updates, download installation packages, and complete necessary version distribution requests.
  • Unknown-source app installation / installer invocation capability: used only when you actively install an app update; the app will not silently install software in the background.
  • System capabilities such as vibration: may be used for scanning or interaction feedback and are not used for information collection.

4. Special Note on Location, Wi-Fi, and Phone State Permissions

The current Android version may declare compatibility permissions such as location, Wi-Fi, and phone state, mainly for underlying system compatibility, reserved peripheral capabilities, or update-installation adaptation. Based on the actual business logic of the current app version:

  • We do not continuously obtain your precise geographic location, movement trajectory, or nearby Wi-Fi information based on the above permissions.
  • We do not actively read your contacts, call records, or SMS content, and we do not use phone state information for user profiling, ad recommendations, or precision marketing.
  • If the declarations or purposes of relevant permissions change in future versions, we will update this Privacy Policy and inform you accordingly.

5. Local Processing and Local Storage

The current version of Bytorent is primarily designed for local processing. The QR images, plan files, NFC tag contents, USB communication results, plan parameters, protection passwords, and exported QR images or plan files that you import are, in principle, read, parsed, stored, or written locally on your device.

  • The app currently does not provide an account registration or login system, so it does not collect information such as your mobile phone number, nickname, avatar, or ID number through an account system.
  • Plan data is usually stored in the app's local database, application support directory, download directory, or the export location you actively choose.
  • QR images may be written to the system photo album or download directory when you actively save them.
  • Device communication logs and runtime logs are stored locally by default, mainly for your own troubleshooting or for technical support to help locate issues later.
  • Except when you actively perform online updates, the current version will not automatically upload your plan files, QR contents, or device configurations to our servers.

6. Third-Party Services

The current version may integrate the following third-party service to provide specific functions:

Other than the update service described above, the current version does not actively integrate third-party SDKs for advertising recommendations or user profiling. Third-party services may process necessary information in accordance with their own rules, and you may further refer to their published policy statements.

7. Information Sharing, Transfer, and Public Disclosure

  • We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
  • Except as necessary to provide the online update function you actively choose, or as otherwise required by laws and regulations, we will not share or transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent.
  • We will not publicly disclose your personal information unless we obtain your explicit consent, or disclosure is required by laws, regulations, or regulatory authorities.

8. Information Storage and Protection

  • We will take reasonable and practicable security measures to prevent your information from unauthorized access, public disclosure, tampering, or loss.
  • Local plan data, QR images, log files, update markers, and similar information will be stored on your local device for the period necessary to provide the corresponding functions; after that period, you may delete them yourself, or clear them in future versions when supported.
  • If it is genuinely necessary to access third-party update services over the network, we will transmit only the minimum information required to provide that function.
  • In principle, we process relevant business within the People's Republic of China. If future business changes involve cross-border processing, we will fulfill the corresponding legal obligations.

9. Your Rights

You have the right, in accordance with the law, to access, correct, and delete information related to you, withdraw your consent, or stop using specific functions. For data stored locally by this app, you can usually manage it by deleting exported files, clearing local cache, removing app permissions, or uninstalling the app. If you need further assistance, you may contact us through the contact methods provided in this Policy.

10. Protection of Minors

If you are a minor, please read this Privacy Policy under the guidance of your guardian and decide whether to consent to it. If you are the guardian of a minor and have questions about the protection of related personal information, you may also contact us through the contact methods provided in this Policy.

11. Policy Updates

When this Privacy Policy changes, we will notify you through in-app pages, pop-up windows, official website pages, or other reasonable means. The updated Privacy Policy will take effect on the date specified in the publication or notice.
