Definition of production safety accident

According to the definition of "Interpretation of the Production Safety Law of the People's Republic of China", "production safety accident" refers to the sudden occurrence of a production and business entity in the production and business activities (including activities related to production and business), which harms personal safety and health, damages equipment and facilities or causes direct economic losses, resulting in the temporary suspension or permanent termination of production and business activities.


According to the safety theory, the causes of production safety accidents can be mainly attributed to four aspects: unsafe behavior of people, unsafe state of things, management defects and unsafe environmental factors.
